We Weren’t Meant Live a Virtual Life

The past year has taught us many, many things including:

  • Pajamas are business causal
  • You can make your own yeast
  • It’s important to turn off that webcam sometimes
  • Don’t take toilet paper for granted
  • You can turn moonshine into hand sanitizer

And thanks to technological advances and necessity we learned it IS possible to work anywhere, on any device, at any time. 145,000,000 daily active users of Teams can attest to this. The world became virtual and we rose to the occasion!!!

But it’s also taught us we weren’t meant to live a virtual life.

It’s time to consider getting out and living again. I wrote a blog about why it is time to consider attending in-person events with even facts and statistics! (oh my). You can read that post on CMSWire here: The Future of Conferences Is Hybrid (cmswire.com)

Additionally, I’m so very excited that my next North American Collaboration Summit in Branson, MO is just around the corner (August 9-11)! This event will of course be hybrid (again) and I know it will be a safe, fun experience for everyone that attends in person.

To give you an incentive to register for the event, I created a coupon code of “countdown” for in-person tickets that will decrease by $1 every day up until the event. (Today is 96 days until the event, so the discount is $96). So, if you want to maximize those savings register today.

Finally, here is a short list of upcoming Hybrid and In-Person events in the Microsoft 365 space for when you are ready to venture out, safely… The world is slowly opening up!! Hope to see you soon!
